Coronary angiography is a specialised X-ray test to find out detailed information about your heart (coronary) arteries.
PCI is a procedure performed after a diagnostic coronary angiogram has confirmed the presence of a significant narrowing in one or more coronary artery, whereby a small balloon and expandable stent (“scaffolding”) is inserted across one or more tight blockages in the coronary arteries to restore blood flow.
